Fruity loops 29/27/2023 ![]() ![]() I wouldn't want to have to use it for a track anymore, that's for sure.i have tried all possible DAWS during the years such as CUBASE, fl, reason, sonar, pro tools, logic. It's also way behind in terms of features: the mixer, routing, audio editing warping and pitch correction, etc The built in sampler was great, everything else was bad.įL has the bad sound quality rep because of the native plugins. I uses fl for years before switching to Cubase. Believe it or not, it's usually the 1st DAW I mention to anyone thinking of getting into music production, not Prop. And if I'm going to use ReWire, then I might as well produce everything from my main DAW in the first place. Let me say it again, I think FL Studio is awesome, but it doesn't do anything I can't already do in Cubase 5. That's why most people I've met that do all of their projects with a lot of tracks in Fl Studio, or Reason use ReWire to run all of their tracks through a main DAW like Pro Tools, Logic, etc, and then mix their project down from there. But if you have a big project with a "TON" of different audio tracks that will be mixed inside the box in FL Studio alone, then you will hear a slight loss of "polish" on the top end. Sure, if you want to do a couple of multi-tracks with a simple beat, no big deal, no one is going to really hear anything. The problem that I hear with FL Studio, and several big artists from Puerto Rico said the same thing to me, is that Fl Studio is not as good at "summing" the bus/stereo mix. However, having used Reason 3 extensively at one time, and trying out the demos of Fl Studio, as well as being around tons of semi-pro and major label reggaeton artists from Puerto Rico that use FL Studio, I'd rather not use Fl Studio or Reason as my main DAW. And to be honest, I kind of like it's flow and layout better than Reason, but that's just me. Let me first say that I tried out the more recent demos of FL Studio, and thought that it was more than capable of doing some great production. ![]() IMO, from what I've heard there is a difference with the way FL Studio sounds in comparison with other DAWs. ![]()
